Travel in Colombia often begins in Bogot\u00e1. A city where many travelers prefer to leave as soon as possible. A shame, because there is so much to do! For example, did you know that in Bogot\u00e1, despite low temperatures and lots of rainfall, you can also just relax for a weekend? Or that just before you fly back home, it’s the perfect place to get some rest after your trip? Bogot\u00e1 has it all: from historic downtown La Candelaria to luxury spas and restaurants in the north of the city. Jimmy took me to one of Bogot\u00e1’s most luxurious hotels for a spa day and a relaxing massage, concluding with dinner at the Hilton.<\/p>\n

Breakfast at Canasto Picnic Bistro<\/h2>\n

We started the day with a delicious vegetarian breakfast at the popular restaurant Canasto Picnic Bistro<\/strong><\/a>. Located right next to Parque El Virrey in the El Chic\u00f3 neighborhood in northern Bogot\u00e1. Also vegans are at the right place here. You won’t find this kind of trendy restaurants in La Candelaria: stay in northern Bogot\u00e1 and discover what more the city has to offer!<\/p>\n

From this restaurant, you can also enjoy walking in one of the city’s most popular parks, El Virrey. Or visit Museo de El Chic\u00f3<\/strong><\/a>, my favorite in Bogot\u00e1. Also don’t forget to admire the nearby park and have a tea.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
