Sandon\u00e1 | A hot day trip from Pasto<\/h2>\n

Nearly 50 kilometers from Pasto Colombia you will find the village of Sandon\u00e1. It takes you 1.5 hours to get there through the many hairpin turns. The outward journey, however, is mostly downhill. Indeed, Pasto is at an altitude of 2,600 meters; Sandon\u00e1 at 1,848 meters. A substantial descent that simultaneously brings a temperature rise of about 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. So if you are tired of the cold in Pasto, Sandon\u00e1 is a good option.<\/p>\n

Sandon\u00e1 was founded in the year 1867 and is characterized by its impressive cathedral that towers over everything. The village is home to some 26,000 people whose occupations include hat making, sugar and religion.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
