Colombia is the country of coffee. And although coffee is produced on a large scale in almost every region of the country, Eje Cafetero, also known as the Coffee Triangle or Zona Cafetera, is the most famous place to visit a coffee finca<\/strong>. However, there are many of them, so which coffee tour should you choose? I can\u2019t give you the answer to that question, at least not yet, since I haven\u2019t visited all the coffee plantations in Colombia. However, I can tell you what I thought of Finca El Ocaso, how the tour works and how it compares to the other tours I have done.<\/strong> El Ocaso: follow the route of the coffee bean.<\/p>\n

El Ocaso: a family business in coffee<\/h2>\n

The finca El Ocaso, which means sunset, was built more than 100 years ago. You can also see it in the typical colorful style so recognizable to this region. The finca is located less than 5 kilometers from the picturesque coffee village of Salento<\/strong><\/a>, in the middle of beautiful nature. Before the tour begins, I walk around a bit and enjoy the beautiful views, the cows and horses and the colorful flowers.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
