Palomino: some love it, others hate it. In recent years, the village of Palomino, on the Caribbean coast in northern Colombia, has become one of the country’s most popular destinations for tourists. Palomino: the gateway to La Guajira<\/h2>\n

La Guajira is the extreme northeastern department of Colombia. Where the desert, the rainforest and the ocean meet. And the first village you encounter: Palomino.<\/p>\n

Although only about 3,000 people live in Palomino, the small village attracts many Colombian and foreign tourists every year. There is also an awful lot to do.
